Stephen ,Julie and Ted the dog staying with us for Christmas and with the cottage all decked out for Christmas and a superb Christmas hamper and champagne waiting for them on arrival their stay was off to a great start. Stephen having blanked in France twice in 2024 had low expectations however he was to be pleasantly surprised. The weather was mild and the carp were feeding , 14 fish to the net with Julie landing a stunning new PB Mirror and Stephen catching his target of a first ever Sturgeon as well as numerous other fish making it a great stay fishing wise and in between enjoying the hot tub , fire pit ,Netflix and some general chilling out in the cottage and visiting the many attractions , great shopping , markets and restaurants in the local area.
