**New Lake for 2025**
Luxemont is a stunning 12.5-acre gravel pit nestled in the heart of France’s Champagne region, near the quaint village of Martinicourt Goncourt. Located approximately a 3.5-hour drive from Calais, Luxemont is the perfect spot for a French carp fishing holiday.
This venue is ideal for up to 6 anglers and is available on an exclusive only booking. There are 9 generously sized swims available, offering the flexibility to move swims during the week should you wish to.
Luxemont is home to around 200–250 carp, 150 have been stocked since the lake was acquired in 2018. The average weight as of 2024 is around 30lbs. The are a number of 40lb plus carp with the lakes biggest fish at mid to upper 50lbs.
Designed with the modern carp angler in mind, Luxemont offers maximum comfort with large swims, an anglers’ lodge, and convenient washing facilities for your stay. There is also a bailiff who will greet you on arrival and offer tips and advice if you require it.
The nearest supermarket is just a 10-minute drive away, and the closest tabac is 15 minutes from the venue. Additionally, a charming town is only 15 minutes away, perfect for a day off from fishing or enjoying lunch at a local bar.
Bookings run from Saturday (12pm) to the following Saturday (10am) French time.
- Fish should be kept out of the water for the shortest time possible.
- Carp care products must be applied after every capture.
- Fish can only be held in retainers while preparing your camera and weighing equipment.
- No BBQs directly on the grass.
- No open fires allowed.
- Do not cut back any bankside vegetation without prior permission.
- Any items used from the anglers’ lodge must be returned and cleaned before leaving the lake.
- Rubbish and recycling must be disposed of in the bags provided.
- Maggots are only allowed for float fishing.
- No particle baits are permitted to be brought onto the fishery.
