Arrived at the lake sat 24th Sept but didnt fish untill the following day . Only fished 3 nights and 4 full days due to day trips out with the family . Caught 36 carp for the week up to 36lb but 9 of these were 30s . Average size was between 24lb – 28lb .unfortunately the 40s and 50s wernt playing ball however the fishing was superb and runs were coming even in the day with high weather pressure. Carp were stunning and you can see these fish are going to increase in weight and this will become a big fish venue in the future. Tactics were pellet and corn to margins at night but the fish move out in the middle of the lake in the daytime. Rigs were simple either D rig / blowback rigs and found fishing with corn topped with a a fake maize produced many runs.
Will return again most definately . A plus venue and a great support team with Carl, Lester and co.
