Gaz Edwards and three friends smashed the Lake Beauregard record, amassing the largest combined weekly tally of carp ever recorded on the French venue!
With the record previously having stood at 92 fish in a week, recorded by seven anglers, the foursome eclipsed that figure with a staggering tally of 119 carp.
Gaz landed 27 of those fish, the largest of which tipped the scales at 48lb. Gaz caught consistently throughout the week, getting through 50kg of chopped and whole Secret 7 boilies over the course of the seven days. His main spot was a gravel area on the far margin.
