Lac Lucie – Carp France Fisheries: 15-07-2023 to 22-07-2023

We were picked up on the Saturday morning from our hotel by nigel and jo who then took the girls shopping and the lads went onto the tackle shop to pick up supplies. On our arrival at lac lucie we were shown our accommodation for the week which was lovely and had the added bonus of a hot tub on the decking and a pool on the lawn, nigel walked us around lucie giving us good info on the depths, clear areas and where to fish.
The week started off well with Jason catching a 40 common on the first night along with a mirror, second night success came to Jason with another 40+ common and 30 mirror and Rickey beat his pb with a 29 mirror.
A change of bait for young Charlie payed dividends by rewarding him with a flurry of fish over the next couple of nights including some small cats and pb mirrors upto 30+. Rickey managed to beat his recent pb with a stunning common of 41lb.
Jo and nigel could not do enough for us and we’re on hand whenever needed including taking us into limoges for car hire.
Overall I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending lac lucie as a family friend holiday destination with superb hosts, so much so we are booking again for later in the year to try kingfisher lake.
