There is no real catch report for Lac Lucie last week as we had no guests. In between unpacking more boxes and doing a bit of maintenance Nigel sneaked in a nights fishing and landed this 44lbs 7oz common which he was very happy with 🎣

After the fish finished spawning, Paul and Carol had a second week of fishing, although not fishing through the night, and unusually hot day time temperatures, Carol managed to up her carp PB Twice during the week as well as her first ever, and PB Cat earlier in the holiday ! Congratulations Carol

Toby Mason was fishing with us the first week of May, and it was a difficult week as the fish were just coming into spawning time. Still managed a few nice fish including one out of Kingfisher.

My 4th year on Lac Lucie! I had a new PB at 44lb 8oz, so happy!!! 🙂 Listen to Pauls advice, he knows his water! Susans food is second to none and you won’t go hungry! Great hosts, very helpful and will accommodate you any way they can.

Listen to the qdvice Paul gives you and you won’t go far wrong and also watch the water and experiment with baiting. Well done to Sue and Paul for helping us break our PBs and 40lb mirror and 42lb Common for me and 35lb mirror for Luke while stalking Tony and Luke

We have had a lovely time and a PB 29lb carp. Definately coming back next year hopefully for the big one. Paul and Sue are great hosts. Thanks Ellie and Tony
