Rob and Steve were with us for a week . The weather was stormy from the start so not much happened for a couple of days . Then the fish started responding to the bait placed on the spots . Yellow pop ups worked the best over a good bed of mixed maize , wheat , pellet and a few boilies.
12 carp where landed between them. Rob had 9 of those with a frantic 45 mins just as they were packing up . Leaving the rods out until the last Rob had a triple take with a 45 and two 28s . Not a bad finish to the week.
Looking forward to having the boys back in the future to see if they can hook the big uns.
