Our group last week, Chris, Paul and Paul aka The Calendar Boys (!!) left us at the weekend. It was our pleasure to host the guys.
Their week was very difficult with drastic changes to the weather. There was finally some welcomed rain which we were hoping would improve the fishing but with the crazy storms, strong winds, it made the fishing very difficult for the group.
The anglers made the best of a difficult week with limited fish on the bank.
They managed carp to 36.8lb and
Paul had a welcomed surprise whilst packing up on the Saturday morning at 9am …. Meet “Stanley” the sturgeon, one of Steve’s brothers!! Weighing in at 63lb.
