Drive and survive at it’s best!
Myself and my three sons Jake, Indi & Albie booked Lac Bundy for a week’s exclusive mid August, we had a mix of weather starting the week in high 30’s and ending in the low 20’s.
The fishing was great with hard fighting fish especially Steve and the large grass carp! and all fish in exceptional condition, we lost a few along the way, mainly the cats who escaped at the net and 1 shredding all line, we all beat our UK personal bests so happy all round.
Mark and Lisa were fantastic, welcoming and nothing a problem, genuinely lovely hosts, the facilities were kept spotless on a daily basis and really not expecting the shower to be so good!
Getting there was a breeze with the motorway exit close by, Lac Bundy itself is so peaceful and well maintained with an abundance of wildlife perfect to de-stress and chill out.
The local village (5 mins drive) has everything you really need including supermarket, restaurants, cafe, bolongerie, if if need more Le Mans only 20 mins away which has everything you should ever need including a good size tackle shop with helpful and knowledgeable staff.
All in all we wouldn’t hesitate in booking Lac Bundy again, I’m thinking next time a bit of winter fishing at this fantastic lake.
