Firstly the lake is beautiful, looks natural serene and the whole setting is lovely. The owners Mark and Lisa are a lovely couple, very down to earth, kind, friendly and very accommodating with your needs and requests. They would happily do pit stops to the bakery for you if required although the shops are only 5 mins down the road. A very adequate toilet and shower to be able to refresh, for a new business it looks very promising. Fish wise we had somewhere in the region of 28 between four anglers ranging from 18lb upto 46lb on the carp front and also a beautiful 59lb sturgeon which was stunning. I would and will return for another crack at this lake as the fight in the fish was great. I look forward to returning and trying to catch the 60lber…. Would recommend this venue for a visit.
