🚨 BREAKING NEWS FROM LAC BUNDY! 🚨
Well, it seems Steve isn’t the only sturgeon in our family! 😮🎣
Our anglers this week, Chris and Alan (Big Al), have made an incredible discovery — Steve has brothers! 🐟
During the early hours of Monday morning, Big Al was the first to lock into a powerful battle with what we initially thought was a worryingly underweight Steve. When the scales settled at 56lb, we knew something wasn’t quite right.
A closer inspection revealed the truth…
This wasn’t Steve! 😲
But the story doesn’t end there…
Yesterday afternoon, Chris found himself in his own battle — and incredibly, it turned into a double sturgeon hook-up! 🤯
Two more previously unknown sturgeon were landed, weighing:
🐟 55lb 12oz
🐟 56lb 12oz
So it turns out that Steve has THREE brothers… and their mother is still unknown! 😂
We are absolutely delighted to have discovered these new members of the Lac Bundy family and, of course, give them a very warm welcome! ❤️🐟
And the surprises don’t stop with the sturgeon…
Chris and Big Al have also enjoyed some fantastic carp fishing, with carp to 46lb.
Even more excitingly, this 46lb fish is another completely new fish to us, believed to be part of the original stock that we have never seen before.
With so much of Lac Bundy’s original stock still unknown to us, it seems the lake is going to keep throwing up surprises for both us and our anglers for years to come. 🎣
