This week we had a good friend join us with two of his fishing mates from their UK syndicate water.
After a quick walk around the lake, the lads drew straws for choice of swims, and soon set up for the trip.
The weather forecast for most of the week was a mix of bright skies, with the odd shower here and there, but turning cold over night.
So the lads decided on using a mix of boilies and pellets which they were feeding little but often to get the bites.
This proved a successful method and between them they banked over 30 carp and several nice tench.
Four fish in total were over the 30lb mark on this trip, with several other high 20’s and a couple of the smaller, but lovely scaled stockies that are coming along nicely.
All in all the lads had a great week, enjoyed lots of laughs and experienced the usually highs and lows of carp fishing with your mates.
