Barrie ,Peter and families staying with us this week. Barrie off to a flyer in very warm weather and Carp still spawning but still managed a total of 8 fish on day 1 in a shallow swim with his baiting pole feeding pellet and particle using a white 15mm pop up. Peter fishing the same method but with bait boat in deeper water, 31 fish caught through out the week in total with some stunning scaley mirrors landed .Both anglers going home with new PB’s Barrie with a superb 40lb 4oz Grass Carp and 20lb 2oz Sturgeon. Peter also landing a new PB, a Sturgeon at 20lb 4oz.Both families enjoyed the delights of our superb cottage pool, hot tub and facilities in the hot weather.
