Etang Rouge: 19-09-2026 to 26-09-2026

We had a fabulous stay at Etang Rouge and I can’t recommend the venue highly enough. Jeff and Shan are the most incredibly welcoming hosts and do their best to make you feel at home. Jeffs lake knowledge and angling experience came in very handy during what was a very difficult week’s fishing, and enabled us to bag a couple of stunning hard fighting carp (including a new PB of 49 lbs) and a real surprise of a lovely healthy eel.
The food is exceptional, and the evening conversations in the Anglers Rest make you feel like you’re with a bunch of friends.
The tackle set ups are great quality, the bivvies are spacious, and the caravan is well worth booking for a comfy night or two on a soft mattress.
This is by far the best French fishery we have stayed at, and we will definitely be booking a return when dates are available
