- 6 on this week from Southampton are who booked separately, but it turned out they had fished a same syndicate back home!! Shae opted for the gate swim already nicknemed “commonsCorner” as Chris from Ireland had caught all commons from here in April! well Shae had a hookpull on a Massive fully scaled mirror that would have been the cherry on his week as he already bagged 23 fish to mid 40!
the other 3 guys were nearly on double figure captures each with Ash moving swims as Dean and co left earlier than planned, they were using the new cabin to great comfort!! bedchairs either side of the new unit and all their tackle on the table, they did not even get the bivvy out!!
so they left, Ash moved in and banked 4 fish in 2 nights, a 38common and a 47 mirror paying for his move!
Simons boy had 2 heavy scaled mirrors that blew his week into orbit!.
this week the bream had been too active and any match angler would have been happy! i have just ordered some retaining nets for any silver fish or cats to be put into as a local club are willing to take these off me.
