This is my fourth time coming to this lake in four years. It’s a great place to come fishing. The lake owner mark is very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. I’ve fished on four different swims and every time I’ve had 20’s / 30’s and 40’s still haven’t got any 50’s + yet. If you want a challenge this is the place for you. I recommend you hire the boat with a motor as you will be going out a long distance from the swim.
I know this lake is a long way. This part may help you on how much it will cost you. The tolls each way is £47 euros each way.
It’s about 10 hours drive with a few stops on your way down.
I leave on Friday evening driving half way and stop to sleep for 3 / 4 hours then drive the last few hours to the lake.
When leaving to come home I leave at 6am and I get to the port for about 4pm. I hope this helps you plan your trip.
