This week at Camalo, we witnessed an exceptional fishing session! Our anglers recorded seven runs, but ultimately, only three fish were landed. And what fish they were! The smallest weighed in at about 50.7 pounds, the second at approximately 54.7 pounds, and the heaviest at around 56.2 pounds.
Camalo is known for being a challenging lake, but when everything aligns, it offers a truly rewarding experience, making for a once-in-a-lifetime session for any angler. We also want to remind everyone that reservations for 2026 are now open, and spots for March are filling up quickly, with very limited availability in April and May. We encourage anglers to book soon!
We understand that Camalo has faced some criticism recently due to its demanding conditions, but for those who persevere and discover the right techniques, the rewards are absolutely worth it!
