Fished end of September 26. 2nd time we have fished this venue.
My son and I caught 20 carp , smallest 24lb and largest 43.5, all mirror and common but we had previously caught 3 grass carp but obviously not this time. We had three over 40lb.
Basically , mostly used the owners (Dave) house pellet and particle along with his boiles and hook bait.
Last year caught 30 good fish but didn’t fish the venue so hard this year . Jason my son had fair results night fishing but I prefer the comforts of the lodge !
We never left the main swim because it accommodates two anglers (has electric hook-up), easy access to the lodge and we could still fish two thirds of the lake.
Dave and Doreen are great hosts and we thoroughly recommend this venue.
