Had a fantastic week, good fishing, and a very welcoming and helpful hosts in Daren and Mandy.
Not being very experienced at French carping, the advice we got from our hosts was spot on.
On arriving at the venue, after a long, but straight forward drive on quiet roads, we were very pleased to find the lake was picturesque and full of wildlife. Grow the lake, there were walks up the hill, or round the lake and into extensive woods.
The accommodation was exactly what we needed for the week, and Daren and Mandy met us, and walked us round the lake, pointing out features and tactics.
Throughout the week we steadily, getting off to a great start, being lucky enough to catch a mirror at 54 1/2 pounds. After a steady week, it finished hectic with 4 in the last hour, including a cracking 45 pound mirror!
