Etang de Villaine is a 6 acre lake set in beautiful countryside in Vesdun in central France. Managed by Stuart, an experienced carp angler, the lake is partially surrounded by mature oak and willow trees with depths ranging from 13 to 5 feet.
The lake is stocked with an incredible stock of carp up to a massive 70lbs with the current average being 44lbs. Check out the catch reports!
If you enjoy the reward of feature finding then there’s plenty of underwater features to locate using your marker rod, from gravel bars to drop offs and holes. To help you make the most of your trip there will be an English bailiff on hand to offer tips and advice.
The lake can be fished day and night and there are showers and flushing toilets on site if you are camping in a bivvy. There is also a fully equipped gite if prefer a bit more comfort for your stay.
