Good Afternoon All, I have just got back from 5 days fishing at Spruce Lake and just wanted to share with you how I got on. As usual the hospitality was superb. I was looked after by Mark and Alison whether at the lake or the house. the food was lovely and the fishing was excellent. With regards to the weather it was overcast with some rain but definitely spot on for fishing. My catch report reads as follows:- Biggest was 51lb (Buster), this was backed by three 40’s to 44lb 6oz, eight 30’s to 38lb and six 20’s to 26lb. These all add up to great week and, due to recent knee injury, I only fished the days as well. The fish were in mint condition and all gave a good account of themselves. A week to remember. Sorry about the bin in the side on photo but I wanted to show the width of Buster.
