I booked this holiday expecting a carp runs water, it transpired that the week was not ‘runs orientated’, I managed to land 3 carp during the whole week! However, I did catch 12 catfish to 54lbs, again not my interpretation of a ‘runs water’.
If I was fishing for catfish I would not have been too disappointed, but I was fishing for carp so I was disappointed!
The venue is very pleasant and the inclusion of huts with facilities is extremely useful. Nick is very friendly and helpful and did apologise for the lack of ‘runs’.
The weather was very pleasant but ultimately the week was not what I was expecting and I left disappointed.
