Last week we had the pleasure meeting Rob. It was his twelfth visit to Oakview but first time back since we took over in 2024. He is an experienced angler and knows the lake well. Rob only fished during the day but was able to land an impressive total of 25 carp. This includes: 4 40lbs (up to 44lb) and 13 carp over 34lbs.
Rob is a solo angler who prefers to return the fish back to water as soon as possible so we don’t have any photos of the catches. However we will share the catch report of his great week.
We look forward to seeing Rob again the same time next year! It’s been great having you fish here at Oakview lake again and we really appreciate your kind words: “One of the best, if not the best weeks holiday with fishing I’ve had in France in over 20 years!”
