Sorry nothing to report we covered the whole lake with no success. We couldn’t see any carp in the margins or the surface. There were a couple jumping in the evening. We put a camera around the lake and couldn’t see any carp and our bait was untouched. We left a day early due to no success.

Misty Waters holds approximately 100 carp, but it is not a runs water and the fishing can be challenging. Not seeing fish in the margins or on a camera does not mean they are absent.
Temperatures in the low to mid-30s, combined with high pressure, made the fishing extremely tough during your stay.
I understand your disappointment and appreciate you sharing your experience.
