Misty Waters is a stunning intimate lake of 3 acres in size which holds some huge carp to just under 60lbs. It is located in Hauts-de-France region of France, just 2 hours drive from Calais.
Set within private grounds of around 4 acres, Misty Waters is only a 10 minute drive from the beautiful historic Roman town of Soissons, which is well worth a visit.
For anglers wanting a bit more comfort or who are taking non angling guests, there is a lodge set back about 10 metres from the bank with 2 double bedrooms that can accommodate 4 adults.
The food package is recommended and is very good value. See food package tab for more details. Customer not opting for the food package will need to cook on the bank.
The lake can be fished by up to 4 anglers and has 7 number of swims which have been well positioned around there lake. There are approximately 100 carp to 57lbs with at least 4 known 50s and over 20 40lbs.
The lake bed is made up of a mixture of gravel and silt with depths ranging 3 feet in the margins to around 7 to 8 foot in the centre.
Bookings are from Saturday to Saturday
Landing nets, weigh slings and cradles are provided free of charge
A selection of boilies, particles and pellets are available to purchased from the lake owner
Food packages are available which includes a full English Breakfast, cooked evening meal and a baguette for lunch. The price for 2024 is £120 and will be £130 for 2025.
