Millstone Pool is a beautifully historic 7-acre carp lake set in the heart of the Limousin countryside, surrounded by woodland and open meadows. With origins dating back several hundred years, this stream-fed water offers a peaceful and atmospheric setting that perfectly suits a traditional French carp fishing holiday.
The lake can be fished by up to five anglers and features a selection of well-positioned swims, allowing anglers to fish in comfortable proximity while still maintaining plenty of water in front of each position. The layout works well for both social trips and more focused fishing weeks.
Millstone Pool is well known for its impressive carp stock, with an average weight in the mid-30lb range, a strong number of fish over 40lb, and several carp exceeding 50lb, including a lake record of over 69lb. These are long-established residents, full of character and power.
