Was really disappointing the carpers cabin was filthy toilets were dirty. Water level was down so low a few of the swims were un fishable as there was about 1-2 foot of water in front of them whilst wading out I found the silt to be about 2 foot deep in about 2 foot of water the lakes crying out to be drained and be dredged as it would make the lake at least 2 foot deeper and be better in the long run. We was never meet by the lake owner to show us where to fish and find out info about the lake. We had 5 fish out in 6 days and left a day early the far swim to the left was a mess and the lakes been dammed so is a lot smaller than originally was diddnt see many fish and the fishing was extremely tough not really what we was after for our weeks holiday to France we all spent a lot of money and done a lot of prep and was all very disappointed. Shame as the lake has great potential but needs some Tlc I wouldn’t go back.
