Finally got some pictures of start of the season’s fish.
Hard going for the first anglers with torrential rain, high winds, water temp dropping but the 3 lads Matt, Jack and Jody stuck it out, landing some nice fish to 45lb, being mainly 30+lb fish.
Jack off the mark with a nice 37lb common , Matt with a 35lb mirror and Jody with a 30lb mirror.
All three lads had a 40+ with Jody having a new PB of 44lb 8 oz, Jack taking a new PB of 45lb on Friday morning in a 4 fish haul.
Matt had a 43lb mirror to top his week off.
Had to feel sorry for Jack getting flooded out at 4.00am with 3″ of water getting in his bivvy.
