Review from the fisherman’s wife!: my husband had a brilliant week, starting with (what felt like) a fish every 5 minutes in the first day! It could have been something to do with the moon and the weather but he was loving it and it was exciting for us too. It got a little quieter towards the end of the week but he was still catching a lot.
The lake and gardens of the cabin are beautiful, really peaceful area and not far to get to local amenities.
The only thing I would change is the inside of the cabin needs a little TLC. It could do with a good clean and (dare I say it) a women’s touch to make it a little more inviting! Nothing major but The cooker extractor fan was not working and could do with replacing a few odd bits in the kitchen.
I understand that if it were all men staying they wouldn’t notice these things.. nevertheless we had a lovely week and it’s a great fishing lake for those that want to catch all week long!
