Lake Beauregard is located in the beautiful Champagne region of France with mirror and common carp to over 60lbs. The average size is 35lbs. Catches of 50 plus carp in a week are not uncommon with the lake record a staggering 119 carp between 4 anglers.
The lake is a 3.5-hour drive from Calais and it is well worth the drive. The nearest town is Vitry le Francois, a 10-minute drive from the lake.
Lake Beauregard is 10-acres in size and can be fished by up to 6 anglers. The lake has plenty of features to fish to including deep margins, bays and a row of small islands. The depths range from 3-8ft. There 13 swims offering anglers plenty of swim choice including the opportunity for some day time stalking.
The lake owners can supply high-quality pllets, boilies and maize.
You’re also welcome to bring your own pellets if you like. Only allow fresh frozen boilies to be used at Lake Beauregard and particles are allowed but tiger nuts are limited to one can per angler.
Rods must not be left unattended and only 3 rods per angler
No leaders of any kind, only tubing
No fixed or tethered lead rigs, leads must be breakaway
No braided mainlines
Minimum 15lb line
Weigh slings and large unhooking mats are supplied and must be used
Bait boats are allowed
Iodine must be used for fish care
One tub of tiger nuts per angler
Prepared baits can be used, no unprepared particles are to be cooked on site
Sacking of fishing isn’t allowed
No ready-made boilies
Absolutely no litter.
These rules are to keep our fish safe and healthy. Anyone caught abusing these rules will be asked to leave Lake Beauregard.
