Lac des Demoiselles – 21 October, 2023

17 April, 2024

On the third week of October we had the pleasure of having Ronald , Marieke , Timo and Sammie Rutgers stay with us for a weeks fishing . This was our last weeks fishing for the year . What a week they had . Apart from it raining most of the time with the odd dry spell . Ronald had 31 carp by the end of the week .
What a great fishermen he is . The carp were still on the munch . He mainly used 25mm Robin red and garlic squid wafters with our house pellet , hemp and buckwheat .
Later in the week the water temperature lowered with the rain we had . He then used 20mm strawberry fish pink boilies and moved his baits into slightly more shallow waters which paid off .
Ronald had a few of our stokies out which had put on good weight . The biggest carp was a beautiful dark common of 49.5 lbs . Timo is only 8 and Samie 10 they also had a few cracking carp expertly landed with Ronald giving them expert advise .
Hope to see you all again in the future .
