A truly wonderful setting for this great little lake with plenty of carp to go at. The accommodation is absolutely delightful and the swimming pool came in very handy on the warmer days. Hosts, Mark & Yvonne, a lovely English couple, are on site and were happy to help with everything we needed. Mark also has plenty of tips on the fishing front which was a game changer for us!
The resident Kingfishers stopped by every single morning to sit on the rods!! A wild boar also regularly popped by in the early hours of darkness to munch on fallen apples behind the bivvy…. amazing to see!
Fishing was pretty consistent all week……
