The boys were on it last week using our house boilie supplied by Holland baits. There first trip to France . I think they were very happy . I’ve also learnt a lot from Martin and Derek . Always good to learn even when your a lake owner. Hope to see you next year lads.

We had our great friends from Holland at the lake. The fishing was a bit slow for them . Non of the big girls graced the bank but still some nice carp with a few stockies .

James and his family here for the second year in a row . James had around 11 carp over the week . He was using DNA baits The bug again which always does well . Here’s a few of the fish he caught .

This week we had Robbie and his lovely partner Coral staying with us . Only one week after spawning so I wasnt expecting to much . Robbie managed 4 carp and lost two . He also broke his PB twice .37.3 , 42 , 44 and a stockie of 21 .

We had our first Dutch couple Ricardo and Shirly for a weeks fishing . 11 carp between them . Carp into the 30s and a couple scaley stockies . I dont have all the weights as I havnt received them yet .

We were made very welcome by Mark and Yvonne who I enjoyed chatting with. Fishing wasn’t easy and conditions not ideal but it’s a very comfortable venue with a nice caravan nearby. We had 14 fish to 47lbs. Mark has worked very hard on the lake is also very knowledgeable.

A truly wonderful setting for this great little lake with plenty of carp to go at. The accommodation is absolutely delightful and the swimming pool came in very handy on the warmer days. Lake owner Mark has 3 carp in 3 short evening sessions. A 28.8 a 16.12 and 24.8.

Lake owner Mark had 2 short evenings down the lake and had 3 fish. Common of 35.9 and a mirror at 34.2 on the first night. A lovely common at 37.8 on the second.

Had the biggest in lake 65.4 absolutely buzzing great venue best host thanks ever so much will deffo return great little spot

Another couple hrs yesterday evening. Was just about to change spots. Went to have a closer look at some fizzing got 5mtrs from the rod and it went off. Nice 27.5lbs mirror. This is a steady grower and is looking good.

Had another few hrs this afternoon and evening. Saw quite a few fish feeding and I was lucky to land this little beauty. Another new 40 for the lake. Weighing in at 45.5lbs.

Had our first Dutch guests to fish the lake.They had a great week banking 23 fish between the two of them.from 17 to 48.8lbs.Dutch frozen boilies Orange chutney and green lipped mussel. Snowmen worked best over a bed of preped hemp and maize.
