We were welcomed by the owner who then left us to our fishing. The lake was gorgeous and the perfect size for 2 anglers. We caught 15 fish between us with the biggest 41lb 3 ounces. The Lodge was superb, it had a full size fridge freezer, oven and hob and comfortably sleeps 3. A big plus for me was that I didn’t see a single rat and bait left out remained untouched. The only issue is that the €100 bait package is no longer available. There are supermarkets, a bait shop and lovely restaurants within 20 minutes drive. Would highly recommend.
