** Reduced price for week of 28th to 5th October only £1000 for lake exclusive usually £1200** Send an enquiry if you are interested in this week

The Lake of Light, also known as Lac de Lumiere, is a natural limestone spring-fed lake spanning approximately 5 acres with carp to 60lbs. It is situated in the serene French countryside within the region of the Loire Valley.

The lake is available for exclusive bookings with the lodge which sleeps 4. The lake is ideal for 3 anglers, however with prior agreement 4 anglers can fish it if they were to use 2 rods each. There is a well equipped angler’s cabin available to all customers which set back a few metres from the lake – see the facilities tab for more details.

There are 3 double swims and single swim which are all on the same bank making it a great venue for sociable fishing.

There are around 200 carp in the lake which are a mixture of commons, mirrors and a few grass carp. The lakes largest residents are pushing the 60lbs make with an average size of around 30lbs.

Depths range from 2 meters to 6 meters and there is no weed or snags.
