We arrived at Lac Claudette with a broken van (gearbox had gone) not a good start.
But Andy the owner was straight on the case and making calls to help solve our problem.
Then he gave us a tour of the great facilities and also a trip out in the boat to show us some likely looking spots to start with.
Andy went above and beyond as a lake owner to help us with the van and the fishing even as if we needed anything from the shops.
Fishing that week in the whole of France was difficult with changing weather conditions but my mate still managed 3 carp to 48lb 7oz and what a common it was.
I would like to thank Andy for all his help and hospitality and we look forward to returning in the future.
