Catch report Baleine (19–26 April)
After a tough start to the week same as on Saussaie, with cold nights slowing things down, the fishing gradually picked up as conditions improved. A solid effort from a great group of anglers resulted in 27 carp landed, with fish up to 57.13 lb.
The catch included:
* 7 fish over 40 lb
* 3 fish over 50 lb
The lads put in the work and earned every bite—well done to everyone. It was great having such a committed group on the lake, and we’re looking forward to welcoming them back in September on the other lake.
Congratulations to those who smashed their PBs this week. Let’s hope the good fishing continues in the coming days.
We’re not seeing signs of spawning on the lakes just yet, although there are some reports coming in from other lakes. With temperatures set to drop again next week, we’re hoping this will lead to a healthy spawn in June.
