We had a wonderful time at Hunnyfields, Steph and Keith were amazing hosts with a wealth of local information, super helpful and friendly (including the dogs and cats).
Me and my family stayed in the main gite, which was perfect for my two teenage boys and wife to enjoy whilst I fished, as it was fully equipped, comfortable, quiet, cool and spacious.
The weather was really hot, so could on really fish during the day as we just couldn’t handle the heat. I caught one fish of 23.5lb, after fishing 4 nights (one night during an awesome thunderstorm) and a couple of afternoons, but it was the most stunning fish I’ve caught, so was made up with that.
I would highly recommend Hunnyfields, its a beautiful place, the gite, the gardens, pool, Lake, local restaurants, markets, go karting, etc.
Would definitely return as soon as possible (just on a cooler week 😉 )
