Grand Felin River Vienne Bed and Breakfast

The river Vienne is famous for producing big carp and catfish. Grand Felin is a very unique and exciting venue and offers anglers an exclusive 700m stretch of river with accommodation.

There are 2 bed and breakfast en suite rooms within a traditional French gite which are set back just metres from the river.  These comfy and tastefully decorated rooms are ideal for anglers as well as non angling partners and guests. The bed and breakfast rooms are at the rear of the gite and completely private. There are 3 additional bedrooms in the site as well as a kitchen  and lounge area which is available along with 2 exclusive carp lakes if you book Domaine Grand Felin lakes which is perfect for larger groups.

In the stretch of the river Vienne, carp have been caught to excess of 50lbs in this stretch of the river Vienne and catfish to a massive 2.5 metres in length! The takes are absolutely electrifying and the battles immense. A boat is available for use to drop rigs and land fish if required.

Both rooms are very tastefully decorated and furnished and have double beds and a shower room. The larger of the two rooms, the ‘Riverside room’ also has a single bed. As there are no cooking facilities an optional food package is available which can be tailored to your requirements and can be just breakfast or lunch and dinner as well or a combination giving you the flexibility to try some great restaurants and cafes which are nearby.

For larger groups of up to 14 the 2 rooms can be booked with Domaine Grand Felin lakes which has a gite which sleeps up to 9 and 2 exclusive carp lakes.

Bookings are Saturday to Saturday – taking bookings from April 2024

The Tour room which sleeps 2 adults is £600 per week – river access only

The Riverside Room is £650 per week – river access only

The main gite which can sleep up to 9 and has access to 2 exclusive carp lakes and the river is £1500 for April and May and £1700 for all other months
