Well after spawning we had a group on from dream carp holidays. Not the most experienced of anglers but they got amongst a few but should of had more 3 pbs broke biggest out 43lb from peg 3 . The 2 young lads hadn’t fished for more than 48hours before and the heat got to them by Thursday so they cut there trip short by 2 days. I fished the Friday myself for 8 hours as it was my birthday and had 6 fish to 41lb a 3 30s to 37lb and a couple of smaller ones. The lads should of used the house bait but brought there own shelflife bollies which didn’t help . The fish in foxpool are used to quality fresh frozen baits and the house baits out fish all baits as there used to seeing more of it and it’s quality bait. The 2 older lads want to return next year as they were reluctant to leave but they all said they enjoyed there first french adventure. We have been closed for 2 weeks after spawning to give the fish a break and have 2 more dch guys come on Saturday and both have already broke there pbs with fish upto 39lb out so far but I expect more to come as conditions look perfect.
