The winter weather seems to drag on this year with the lads experiencing frosts at night until Thursday. But despite that the lake give up some big fish with 8 0ver 40lb and 13 over thirty including 3 x 39lb + 2 over 20lb and 2 stockies doubles. 2 small catfish that were removed.
Biggest fish fell to Chris in peg one landing two tone at 58lb pb and backed up by another 2 over 40lb coconut cream house bollies doing the business for him as they did for the other Chris in peg 2 landing a 41.10 mirror and some high 30s ,Oscar and Mike fished nut brittle and after a slow start they both managed a brace of forties Mike having 2 on Friday after a slow week in 4 . They both switched bait on Thursday and it paid off Oscar caught consistently all week . Chris is a regular visitor to France and he was complimentary of the condition of the fish and how hard they thought please see foxpool france on Facebook for there comments.
