The fish are getting ready to spawn soon and seem a little pre occupied with that, with bites slowing down peg 1 keeps fishing well though with Sam bagging 5 fish over 40lb including a brace of 45lb unfortunately he’s dropped a couple too but is closing in on double figures. Ian started with a 33lb mirror then had a 50lb catfish and it went a bit quite in peg 2 until he managed a stunning 38.8lb common then last night grabbed a forty pound mirror in the early hours. Jack has lost more than he’s caught but had stumpy at 34lb and last night bagged a scaley mirror over in peg 4 . I think in the next few days they will spawn definitely its a worrying time for lake owners as you usually get a casualty or two but hopefully we don’t lose any like last year. Thanks Graham Foxpool
