Well a little over 10 weeks until we open the doors on the 2025 season the fish have been rested of angling action from when we closed at the end of September but we’ve continued to feed heavily with maize and pellet going in twice a week.
We’ve stopped with pellet this week as sub zero temperatures have put a lid of ice on the lake bit we will continue with the maize over the next few months until temperatures rise again.
We invested heavily over the last 12 months with new rods pods bedchairs cradles slings and nets bought over the winter and new daychairs and 2 man bivvys on order for the start of the season.
We are adding another 10 carp from the stockpond and will continue to remove any catfish over the new season.
It’s going to be a busy year with April July August sold out and only 1 week left in September a couple of weeks in May and June free and October there’s 3 weeks left if you fancy a week on this pretty little lake with fish over 60lb and a few 50.plus monsters to go for there’s a ever growing head of forties with 10 new forties pushing through alone last year alone .
