Jason joined us this week for his first french trip and joined two regulars Tim and Dean.
The wind was blowing a strong westerly prior to there arrival and Jay didn’t have many in his swim but managed a brace of 28lb fish Dean caught within a hour of chucking out landing a nice 39lb lump. Tim had to wait a while longer but banked a long mirror at 44lb just after Jason landed the shamrock atv44lb also a brace of 44lb fish with 20 minutes of each other. Jason was made up with his forty smashing his pb by 16lb. He also went on to bag 5 more over 30lb upto 35.8lb . Tim managed a few more the highlight being 38lb leather Dean also managed a few more banking a 36lb common and 37lb mirror aswell.as few more over 40lb and 3 x29lb mirrors. The lads came as strangers and left as good friends and hope to plan a trip together in the future.
