Well after a bit of a slow opening week in the sunshine with only 11 fish out. Neil in peg 3 beat his pb with a 44lb mirror and followed that up with 42lb fish and a couple of thirtys to 38lb. Ryan in peg also beat his pb with a 39lb mirror but struggled as the fish just weren’t in his water which surprised me as peg is the shallowest water and in the sunshine should of been where there at. Neil and Aaron had 3 fish each with Richard bagging a couple over 35lb to 37lb.
Last week was a different story with only 2 anglers on both getting into double figures and some big fish out to 55lb and 5 fortys out followed up with thirtys and twentys for liam and his partner Lauren. Pegs 3 and 4 doing the business after lism switched from peg 2 after only taking 1 fish from peg 2. They switched swims on the last night with liam going into 3 and Lauren into 4 and Lauren bagged her first 50 plus with a 55lb common. liam got his pb mirror also with a 45lb mirror his 3rd 40 of the session.
We are now getting bookings in for 2026 season with 3 bookings in this week both groups have rebooked that have fished this year’s opening weeks.
