Playing catch up so 2 reports at once. The last 2 weeks have been a bit slow due yo weather conditions and fish spawning. The on 5th of May had a deluge of rain on them as they arrived and there was only 15 fish out biggest 58.8lb and the rest were mainly in the thirtys. The lads on the 12th may arrived to 28° and on the Sunday and Monday the fish were spawning all over the lake Steve in peg 2 managed a 38lb leather from peg 2 before spawning but it was slow for all four especially at the start . Don had a brace of forties to 47lb and Steve had another 36lb and 40lb fish Jeff had 4 fish from peg 3 but only upto mid thirties Simon had to wait until Thursday for his first fish then managed 4 before they went but the heavy rain kept them company all week. After a heavy storm Monday night the fish stopped spawning but a most the fish out since then are still carrying spawn. It picked up Friday night and this week is fishing a lot better but we’re are still getting lots of rain which is unprecedented in France this time of year.
