We had Lee and Tony arrived for there first visit to foxpool through dch this week .
Tony was tired when he arrived and didn’t fish Saturday then surveyed the lake depths before putting a line in sunday afternoon a 42 lb was his first fish he unfortunately took ill midweek and pulled out for 24 hours and friday afternoon to pack down ready for the early start Saturday. So only fished 4 nights and had 9 fish 42lb being the biggest 3 over 30 lb to 36 lb and 3x 29lb fish. Lee didn’t get going really despite his hard work in peg 2 only landing 5 fish but nothing big.
Great lads to have on the lake they used there own bollies fishing rh baits then Tony bought 5k of house bait.
Phil just arrived and hes on the house bait 4 fish in the first 24 hours beating his pb with a 36lb leather a couple 30s out with a smaller common andxa large catfish.last night with a double take. Hes in peg 3 and said the fish are all over him unfortunately his week will be cut short leaving Thursday morning due to work commitments in Ireland.
