Fishing has been a tad slow due to high temperatures returning with highs of 40° last week we had a group of 4 from dch on there 1st trip 3 out the 4 beat there pbs biggest out 43.8lb to Dave who’d already best his pb with a 38lb fish but it eas still tough going steve had few upto 39lb in peg 1 Ben in peg 3 had a grass carp at 28.8lb then.lost a bigger grassy at the net on the ladt night ,to in 4 lost a couple befer bagging a few smaller commons them had a new pb at 32lb. This week there’s a big change in the weather with a lot of rain sunday and high winds today they’ve all caught but Dave in peg 3 is on the end of a strong wind and is fishing open water but hes had a new pb of 45lb before a brace of 35lb fish then broke his pb again with a 47.7lb mirror he.let the other Dave land a 37lb mirror and then let his lad land a 34lb fish before having another 34lb mirror from.open water on a pva bag and coconut cream hook bait with a scattering of bollie spread with a catapult about 3/4 ,of the way out towards the island..dan had 4 in peg 1 but nothing bigger than 25lb so far. The westher has really turned autumnal this week and a cool 17° today . Soon be tuned to get the log burner on.
