A beautiful 4 acre venue in a peaceful setting of the Indre department of the central region of France. Fox Pool can be fished by up to 4 anglers and has carp to over 65lbs and cats to over 80lbs. It is just 1 hour drive from Limoges airport and 5 hour drive from Calais. Offering exclusive drive and survive with the option of an all inclusive fishing package including tackle hire, airport collection and a food package.
As on April 2024, there are carp up to 65lbs and a few largest catfish to 80lb. Roughly 235 fish over the 40lb and none under 20lb. There have at least 4 fish over 50lb and, a gorgeous two tone common which broke the 65lb barrier in April 2024.
Fox Pool is suitable for up to 4 anglers per week. Guests not fishing are welcome if this is arranged beforehand. Both individual and lake exclusive bookings are accepted and a special package means we will supply everything you need to fish, eat & have a great time! Bookings are Saturday to Saturday. Arrival is no earlier than 2pm with a departure time of 10am.
Graham will always be on site for any assistance, advice or just to take a photo of your prize catch.
Flights to Fox Pool for anglers hiring tackle
To make life even easier during your trip, we offer a complimentary airport pick up from Limoges airport. Ryanair fly to Limoges from many airports across the United Kingdom, please take a look at the address for more information and flight prices. Note, flights are not included in the price of your holiday.
Drive and Survive
If you plan to drive to Fox Pool a detailed map is available upon booking.
Exclusive use: whole lake booking: total = £1100 per week for a maximum of 4 anglers.
Food package and tackle hire for up to 4 anglers is £400 (please note this is £400 in total for up to 4 anglers not £400 per person)
Airport pick up and drop off is free. Flight price is not included.

If you prefer a more economical stay for just yourself or a couple of you, you can book individual places. Please bear in mind, because there is a maximum of 4 anglers at Fox Pool, you might share your holiday with others.
Individual price £300 for each angler, per week with a maximum of 4 anglers.
Tackle hire per angler is £75
Food package per angler is £120
If you would prefer to drive yourselves for any of the above options then a detailed map can be supplied upon booking.
All Inclusive Package
We believe in making your experience as enjoyable as possible by providing all inclusive carp fishing holidays. We provide each angler with the following if required:
- Reels
- 3 x 3.5/3 lbs Rods
- Rod pod & 3 x swingers
- 3 alarms
- 2 Man bivvy
- Day chair and bedchair
- Landing net, unhooking mat, weigh sling
- Scales
Baitboat hire is also available.
So, we leave the following to you:
- Sleeping bag
- Pillow
- Head torch
- Camera
- Any end tackle
- Carp care kit
Bait is available to be purchased on site
Cooked breakfast with free teas and coffees and an evening meal is included in the price.
Rules:
- No nuts
- Braided main line is only permitted for marker rods
- Sacking of fish is not allowed at any time
- Standing holding fish for photos. Always kneel
- Drinking excess alcohol by the lake is prohibited. You will be asked to
- Leaders, minimum of 3ft of tubing in length
- Carrying of fish in slings to cradles/weighing tripods. Cradles & tripods must be carried to where fish is landed.
- Microbarb hooks only
- Minimum 15lb breaking strain main line
- Keep your swim tidy at all times
- Treat the fish with respect and take care when releasing them to ensure they are fully recovered.
Landing nets, weigh slings, reception mats, weigh tripods are to be supplied by Fox Pool.
There is a boat available for use at your own risk.
