Chef de Ville: 30-08-2025 to 06-09-2025

Chef de Ville is a beautiful lake with well made well spaced pegs most of which could easily be used as doubles.
The lake has been heavily treated with dye and is now 99% weed free, unlike the pictures and previous reports.
The food is great and the toilet and shower facilities are excellent.
The owner was on site most of the time and he is very helpful..
The bait, both boilies and particles were good quality and reasonably priced.
The boats for hire are excellent and reasonably priced.
The downside was the size of the fish, our group of 4 caught well over 160 fish but only a few over 30lb with only 3 or 4 over 40. The vast majority were under well 20lb.
It’s a long way to come for pasties, we have a Greg’s local.
No doubt when these fish pile on the weight it will be a great water.
